Nothing screams “Awkward Phase” more than having a class together in high school and not saying a single word to each other (just an exchange of some awkward cursory glances). Jessica and Cory first met in their sophomore year Latin class at Norwalk High in 2006. Following that class, bound to their own social cliques at the time, they rarely crossed paths again. Fast forward a half a decade, in the midst of the college years, Jessica and Cory reconnected thanks to some mutual friends. Cory transferred to Jessica’s college (UConn) which gave them a reason to finally speak to each other. What started out as just friends quickly turned into something more… a blossoming romantic relationship. Cory and Jess spent the rest of their twenties together. Their days and nights were filled with trying new restaurants, Cory trying new recipes and Jessica being the official taste tester, traveling (especially when Cory worked in Italy for 6 months), helping each other develop new hobbies and spending time with friends and family. These experiences shared together helped strengthen their love and companionship. Finally, after testing Jessica’s patience for a whole decade, Cory decided to propose to her the day after her thirtieth birthday in Manhattan, their favorite city. They now invite you to celebrate this fantastic matrimony of theirs!
